1. Become a volunteer

Learn more about the volunteer positions currently available, then fill out our volunteer application form. Volunteers play a critical role in the FFI National Immigration Detention Hotline and the FFI National Visitation Network. There’s no shortage of other ways you can help end immigration detention, including translation and interpretation services, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and providing transportation to people and loved ones impacted by detention.  

2. Start a Visitation Group

There are thousands of immigrant prisons and jails across the world. One may be in your backyard. Fill out our volunteer application form to learn more about how to start a Visitation Group in your community.

3. Become a policy advocate

Launch a Dignity Not Detention Campaign in your state to stop the expansion of immigration detention! Reach out to policy@freedomforimmigrants.org to learn more.
