Here are 10 easy ways you can show up for immigrants:
1.) GIVE A SINGLE OR RECURRING DONATION:
Your ongoing support allows us to continue working towards a world without immigration detention. With a commitment of $25 a month, you can become a Freedom-Maker and secure a brighter future for immigrants in this country.
2.) DONATE IN HONOR OF A LOVED ONE: Celebrate loved ones by donating in their honor. Please include their name and email address and we will send them a letter of thanks.
3.) DONATE TO THE NATIONAL BOND FUND: Increase your impact by donating to our National Immigration Detention Bond Fund to secure the release and freedom of those detained in ICE prisons and jails across the country. Select “bond fund” in the purpose section of the donate form.
4.) DONATE YOUR STOCK: A donation of securities is a powerful and tax-wise way to support Freedom for Immigrants. Please contact us for more information.
5.) GIVE THROUGH A DONOR-ADVISED FUND (DAF): If you have a Donor Advised Fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to Freedom for Immigrants, directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).
6.) EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFTS: Many companies will match an employee’s charitable gift to an approved 501(c)3. Check with your human resources department to find out if your company matches donations to double your impact! Our EIN is 80-0875881.
7.) CONSIDER US IN YOUR WILL: Freedom for Immigrants’ planned giving staff can help you think creatively about your giving options.
